Program Goals The Honors Program for the undergraduate students of the School of Management (SOM) is designed with the academic and professional advancement of students in mind. However, the program also helps fulfill larger related goals. As such, the Program has three interrelated goals: - First, to the students, the program offers a higher quality, more challenging, and greater value added education. It also makes available to them such opportunities that help them better prepare for their professional career;
- Second, to the business community, the School of Management is able to better fulfill its obligation of providing highly trained and qualified students;
- And finally, to the effect that the School of Management is able to produce a highly select group of students, this further reinforces the School’s reputation as a selective institution with high academic and professional standards.
Program Benefits to the Students To the students, there are a number of benefits in joining the SOM Honors Program. While some of these benefits are immediate, others are short-term, and still other benefits accrue throughout the students’ professional careers. - Better training in various business areas, hence professionally better prepared.

- There is no additional cost to the students. The School bears all of the expenses related to the program.
