Course Descriptions

The Master of Science in Finance serves professionals in corporate finance, financial institutions, and the investment fields. The MS-Finance program builds upon a long tradition of excellence in finance education. The program was built with input from numerous sources in the finance community and parallels much of the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) body of knowledge.  University of Michigan-Dearborn students who are close to finishing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and have been admitted to the MS-Finance program, may take up to six graduate credits during their final term of undergraduate coursework.

The Master of Science in Finance program consists of 30 graduate credits, including up to 6 graduate transfer and/or graduate waiver credits (waivers apply to required finance courses).  At least 15 of these 30 graduate credits must be from Finance courses.
