Minimum Credits Required for the dual MBA & MS in Finance is 75 credit hours*******
 Notes:
* The MSF program requires a course in Financial Accounting – equivalent to ACC298 – as an admissions prerequisite. Students lacking this course may take ACC 505 to fulfill this prerequisite.
** These courses contribute to both the MBA and the MSF degrees.
*** ACC 555 Cost Management may not be used as both an MBA Applications A course and an MSF elective.
**** No course may be used as both an MBA elective and an MSF elective. Students may earn a concentration within the MBA, as long as the concentration is not in Finance. MBA concentrations require at least 9 elective credits, raising the minimum total credits required from 75 to 78 credits.
***** A maximum of three credits of business internship (BI 500 or BI 560), by petition, may count as MSF elective credit.
****** Core MBA courses may be waived, reducing the credits required for the MBA, but students must complete a minimum of 36 credits for the MBA plus the 15 credits shown above for the MSF degree, for a minimum total of 51 credits. A minimum of 39 credits-in-residence are required for the Dual MBA and MSF program.
******* A minimum of 15 credits in Finance courses is required. Upon completion of the entire 75 credit program, the MBA and MS-Finance will be awarded simultaneously.
